Job Details
With our Branch Team based out of Dallas (Coppell) – Texas , t his position is responsible for the growth and development of all Snack & French Fry Food Processing products within the defined region(s) by being the product and application specialist. This is not limited to but includes sales support and training the regional sales teams thereby supporting the growth of processing sales.
Key Responsibilities

  • PLANNING : Continually work with Global Sales Manager & NA Branch GM - Processing and local management to develop and fine tune regional sales strategy and plan for respective product group(s).
  • QUOTATION SUPPORT : Develop and support the quotation and sales order process with Regional Sales Managers for respective product line in line with agreed Sales and Project Cycle Process.
  • TECHNICAL PRODUCTION & APPLICATION SUPPORT : Provide innovative customer-focused technical product and application solutions to both Regional Sales Managers and Customers that advances product line opportunities.
  • DRIVE SALES REVENUE : Achieve and realise regional s ales target for respective tna product line and region with the use of CRM.
  • PRODUCT PROMOTION : Actively support the promotion of product line through participation in joint customer visits, trade fairs/exhibition and networking events.
  • SALES TRAINING : Assist and support the Regional Sales Managers & Marketing with delivery and training of specialist product information including Business intelligence information & competition analysis.
  • REGIONAL MARKET INSIGHT : Provide input to Group Sales Manager to drive development, innovation and pricing strategies.
  • AFTER MARKET SUPPORT : Ensure aftermarket opportunities are realised – Spares, Upgrades, Support

Qualifications

  • Technical college or bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or food technology
  • Technical-commercial skills to translate market and technological developments into development or innovation projects is required.

Work Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar sales or product management role in the processing industry.
  • High knowledge level of Processing (Snack and French Fries) Products
  • Experience and knowledge of the relevant market segments and belonging technologies would be advantageous.
  • Product management experience in a project-based environment will be an advantage.

Skills & Abilities

  • Professional sales skills (building relationships, negotiation skills,)
  • Language skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages desirable
  • Managing & monitoring by KPI’s
  • Personal skills: team player, partnering, communicator,
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers (internal and external) and vendors.
  • PC skills including a sound understanding of spreadsheets, preparation of presentations and reports.
  • CRM
  • Proficient at AutoCAD/Inventor
  • Excellent organizational skills - able to demonstrate ability to monitor and track progress of work, as well as following up.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Ensures a collaborative approach. Seeks and listens to feedback across all areas of the business.
